Calculate Time
Calculate Time With Dates

Hours calculator computes the time difference between the two-time slots. Using Work Hours Calculator user will have to enter input values in the respective fields as mentioned under the name of Time 1 and Time 2 or “1st date & time”, and “2nd date & time”. The input has to be provided in the exact same manner as it is displayed, comprising of hours, minutes, seconds, and date field. The time format also needs to be defined in AM or PM, for which the calculator will output the time variance. The time format plays its own significance and hence should be correctly entered while using the software.

The work hours calculator is designed with a simple, easy to use features that support maximum comfort level of the end-user on using the software. There is no need to dive deeper into the functionality and coding of it. Just input the values and calculate the time difference between the slots. A separate screen is designed to showcase the results of the time difference. The configuration is done in a way that even the layman can easily comprehend.

Apart from its simplified structure, options such as “now” and “clear button” has been added to let users work smoothly throughout the entire process. The “now” feature is integrated to help users enter the current time value with just a single click. This, in turn, will completely eliminate the need to choose input for the present session. The values will be selected automatically with no role in the dropdown. Clearly, no more input selection is required to fill up the current time slot as automation is enabled for now. Again, it’s up to users to make a choice between the respective time slots to use “now” functionality.

Then comes the “clear button”. It has been provided to make users input values in the slots for an indefinite period of time. The user just needs to click the clear button and all the previous values will get erased. This comes handy especially if the end-user is not in a mood to repeatedly make a selection from the dropdown and then compute the time difference. The user may like to compute again starting with the initial values. However, it is a tool that can be used additionally. The clear button when used restores the changes set to default. On the other hand, the input choice from the dropdown will not get back to the default values set at the beginning.

There are two separate rows named as TIME 1 & TIME 2 shown in screen 1.

The rows titled as Time 1 & Time 2 have both the same type of dropdown parameters in hours, minutes, seconds and format field. The field requires selection by the user. Immediately after selection, the time difference will be calculated in the third screen columned as Results. The input fields have already been set with the default values at the beginning. In case the user doesn’t wish to input values in the time slots, the time difference will be computed based on the initial values. The user is free to use the “now” and “clear” button at any time.

The working of software doesn’t merely end here. The basic structure and design have been explained. Another screen is also available to let users calculate time differences based on the date calendar. This is to enhance the functionality one step further where it would be easy to make time analysis and that too, with the selection of different dates.

Again, the column has two rows with the same type of input values in dropdown. The screen defines its time slots in the form of “1st Date & time” and “2nd Date & Time”. The difference between the first and second screens is that the latter offers the user the choice to input values in the date field. The output, however, is again shown on the third screen which doesn’t need any input.

The user is free to select any value for the date field except that it should in a proper format. The same criteria apply for the selection of time intervals in the two slots that will compute the difference. The modification evident here is in the output where a number of days in between the slots will also get displayed. The date format after inputting value will generate the difference in terms of days, months and years along with time variance. This is in addition to the results computed in the first screen where the difference between the dates is not applicable.

Also, the screen again has the option to make use of “now” and clear button” functionality that removes the values inputted and replacing it with the default ones.

Initially, a message is seen on the screen to make use of a calculator and compute the results. It will soon change to showcase time difference upon feeding values in the dropdown. One common screen is used to print the results of both the calculator and the purpose behind it is to simplify the structure and make an impressive design pattern. The calculator outputs the result by taking both inputs and showing difference in hours, minutes, seconds or days, months and years depending upon which calculator has been used.
